Who we are
The Curry Chapter is built on decades of hospitality and a deep respect for food.
At its foundation is a restaurateur who has been serving the Boston area since 1997, creating restaurants known for warmth, consistency, and genuine care for guests. His belief has always been simple: great food matters, but true hospitality is what people remember.
That vision came together through a collaboration with a chef whose love for cooking was shaped by watching his mother and grandmother prepare meals at home. What began as handwritten recipes and quiet observation grew into a shared idea — to create an Indian restaurant where food feels honest, comforting, and rooted in tradition.
Located in Harvard Square, Cambridge, The Curry Chapter brings together regional Indian flavors, authentic cooking methods, and thoughtful modern creativity. Slow-cooked gravies, balanced spices, and time-tested techniques remain at the heart of every dish.
Here, food is emotion — comfort, connection, and celebration. Whether you grew up in Maharashtra or Massachusetts, the goal is the same: simple, soulful Indian food that feels like home, served with care.
